Poiema’s first biannual Visual Arts Conference

I participated in my second PCA&D AIGA Designathon, a 12-hour event dedicated to designing for non-profit organizations. Partnered with Madeleine Lyash, a 2021 Graphic Design graduate, our task was to create a logo and brand identity for Poiema’s first biannual Visual Arts Conference. We decided to go beyond the initial request, delivering a variety of brand assets to elevate their visual identity. Designathon challenges not only test design skills but also collaboration and the ability to work efficiently under a tight deadline.

While Madeleine and I equally contributed to the design process, I took the lead on developing a social media awareness video to drive attention to the conference in a fun and engaging way. I integrated the conference logo through creative motion design and made sure to feature its elements across the video, utilizing patterns and shapes to capture viewers’ interest.
